“What distinguishes the map is that it is entirely oriented towards an experimentation in contact with the real... The map has to do with performance”
(Deleuze & Guattari 1987)
How can we stage stratified bodies - bodies that can be impregnated, infiltrated, staked out and layered? Can we generate systems of thought that can help us think about change, transformation and becomings?
These questions took the form of a structured improvisation, a conversation, a living object that adapts to its environment. The performers put on stage theirs bodies with multiple surfaces, entangled by rhythms, sensory habits, intervals and durations, affective and artifactual lives.
Their sounds and their bodies are exploring the space, navigating through it as if they could map it out, producing a choreography of individual territories through sound and sensory experiences.
