A day to day diary into somatic approaches to movement
ABOUT ME
As a dancer and Feldenkrais practitioner, I attend the body as a medium through which we experience the world. My practice is rooted in a somatic approach to dance and dance making. To me, dance is about genuine investigations and embodied inner agreements of re-discovering the intrinsic intelligence of the body. It is a practice of giving form to fleeting impulses.

« I don't remember why I chose to dance. I had a lovely teacher, who was sharing with us a world rich in images and illustrations of body sensations. That's when I realised I could bring an imaginary world into being in my body and tell stories through my flesh and bones. That's when I felt in love with dance. Today I still dance, because it is my way to make sense of the world. Through dance, I can learn about the universe and then almost at the same time forget everything about it. I can let things flow through me, as a conversation that holds uncertainty and embraces mystery. I can let sensations permeate everything in the theatre of my imagination, available for a lifetime. »

I have been working around Europe since 2006 as dancer, teacher and most recently dance maker. I am currently living between Marseille and Athens.
